The kids and I are trying to work out a way to explain to the wife why we are huddled around the computer from 2 to 4am rolling dice and whispering something about fighting into the webcam. If you come up with an excuse which doesn't wind up with me living on the couch, holla.

OK, it looks like Skaffen the Mortarforker is willing to consider sacrificing his circadian rythyms and pull a late -night RPGTonight session on the weekend (his idea) which would make it daylight hours here, and the kids can play.
I don't know how that grabs you 8ball, but you know you'd be welcome to join in from here, or I can bring the landsharks to your place if you prefer and we can make a bbq session of it, or join in online.
ROAD HOGS would be cool on RPGTonight I reckon, and the voices over ISP will fit in with the whole cars thing, where you are talking over the radio. If we could put a vocal effect on Skaffen's voice for the bubbling squid voice that would be gold, and 1/4 of the game would be about trying to understand what he's saying without the kids wetting their pants laughing.
I'm also kind of thinking skype or msn video might work as well or even better, maybe that and RPG tonight in conjunction so we have character sheets on line if we need that. With a webcam pointing at the minis (for Avalon, Road Hogs we've been using lego cars and shit, which is rad. They have 30min prep time to build the cars and figures for their characters. They love it, of course.)
If RPGTonight chewed up too much band width with MSN/Skype video running, there are other dice rollers etc out there. I'll have to get my wireless network running one day so I can have the lappy on the gaming table with SKaffen's head on it via webcam. We'll put it between the kids and put a bowl of chips in front of him, and a soft drink.
With webcam, we could play Avalon with full minis and dungeon setup. With the cam down near the set Skaffen could see all the action, I might need to chase up a USB extension cord. And with the speakers on, we'd hear him like he's here. Anyway I'm happy to do this if people are up for it. I know the kids would be into it.
