I am now fully aroused. I think even if they botch it, they'll get it right in the sequel. More races and special dudes and shit will would be cool, and you can bank on them bringing that shit in with expansions and sequels. I think you'll find the WH40K tag will make it sell pretty well, but like I said 50 times we might have to wait for II or III before it really kicks ass. I would love to see it off tap with tyranids and all the other shit in the miniatures stores, that would RULE. Necrons blah blah. I told Jas, he's excited. I whispered to him "we're getting it" when his Mum was out of earshot.
From what I've seen and read so far it looks like it will be fine. The usual type of RTS (starcraft/warcraft 3) - but with WH40K units and bits in to make it rock.
As long as it is 100 -> 1000 times better than the turn based RTS with a hex grid that was released a few years back. I think it was Rites of War, and it definitely was a pile of dog shit. I chucked the demo of it fairly quickly.
