I have to thank Stompbox for introducing me to the hard motherfucker called Lobo, and all his friends. I came home from the land of the dune coons one year for a holiday and spend untold glorious days working my way chronologically through milk crates of 2000AD comics.

Awesome.

I still have 2 massive boxes of 2000AD in my shed, pretty much everything they released from 89 till they released the Judge Dredd nightmare of a movie. & in my opinion the less said about the Tank Girl movie the better, Ice T as the Kangaroo in a bit part. give me a fucking break...

as this is the theme of the week.

Comics 2 FilmI haven't been there in years, if it's still around get the skinny on what awesome comics are about to be butchered by hollywood

me, I'm still awaiting the Boiled Angel comic

Dont poo on a stick, just shove the stick in, pull it back out ... done! No effort required.

DO NOT THROW OUT YOUR COMICS. I have HEAPS of old 2000ADs as Skaffen said, my boys will be beside themselves. Mine are buried under the father in law's crap in the shed, but when they move back from interstate I think it's time for the 10 yr old to get them... Save them for your kids, or give them to me, for mine.

The Warhammer Fantasy figures Skaffen gave me, which my wife tried to say no they're not coming with us, I cracked them out of the shed last night for the boys. You should have seen their faces. One minute, boring sitcom on telly. Then Dad comes upstairs with $300 worth of Warhammer miniatures, bang, there you go boys. They played together for hours, it was pretty cute. All I could hear was "Oh WOW look at this one!" and the same from Noah from behind a dummy. Noah likes the cardboard "blast template" things, a long triangle with fire on it, and you turn it over and it has green steaming vomit on the other side. Cool.

There was a shitload of unpainted Spacehulk dudes in there, Jas and I were stoked.

I see 2000AD in the newsagents sometimes, but they're $6 a pop or something now, I think about buying one for Jas (and if I happen to sit down with a beer later and read it so be it) but they seem a bit steep, most of the art is still average with only one stand-out colour strip each issue.

When my modeling gets better I want to make the ABC warriors. I have the books Bisley did of them, THEY RULE

I bought a couple of issues of VIZ a few years back. Came with free 2000AD comics. ABC warriors were in. Awesome stuff.
