STARSHIP POOPERS - The ultimate punishment

I dragged my son into playing this game, which I had and played solo when I was a kid. Nostalgia clouded my judgement.

A mind-numbing exercise in resource management, this game manages to sap the joy even from combat, which becomes a depressing exercise in ratio calculation.

The only fun bit was drawing the tunnel map.

The marines have a sheet too, you have to keep record of bullshit on there. Sheesh.

We kept it going for a few days, but I couldn't pretend it was fun. It just wasn't.

So I now have a punishment lined up for the kids if they play up.

The kids look bewildered, I had to explain that this was before Warcraft. They found it hard to understand why anyone would subject themselves to this voluntarily.

Holy six-titted zombie emperor

I was playing around with my mobile while the kids did martial arts, had a look at what new mobile games were out - and soiled my pants. You can even set it to AI vs AI, and sit back and watch animated Space Hulk carnage. Booyah.

Hit with indian ink first which got down in the cracks, then undercoated with Bunners White Knights Squirts black, or chaos black with a brush to get into some deep cracks, Adeptus Battlegrey drybrush all over, lighter drybrush codex grey on top.

The guy in the shop suggested another lighter (fortress or something) grey drybrush coat really light on top maybe, but I don't reckon I need it.

Thinking about maybe an ink wash over the top to darken some of the deep parts. MONKEYPOX what do you reckon, is it worth the effort?
