There were a few other bands, like Maiden, Exodus, Opeth, Gorgoroth... they were okay too. I'll post a more lengthy assessment after I recover.

I bought about 12 t-shirts, a drinking horn and some gothic cuff thing (which I don't remember doing but my mates assure me I thought it was rad at the time.)

The beer, seriously... liquid gold. Drunk enough you cannot stand up properly, but can talk and see, and the next day... nothing! Glass of water, brush your teeth, have a shnitzel and you're straight back on it!
