So
1) it plays video, no idea on the specs yet. I assume it will be soem form of quicktime codec only (possibly a kickass one)

2) it comes in black

3) it's even smaller than the old iPod photo.

4) I am almost certainly getting one

5) bigger screen

6) can port video to a TV via the dock, if the codec is OK the video will probably be very watchable as well. (seems to support MP4 which I've been playing around with for my new phone & looks half decent)

7) I think it looks hotter tahn the old one too.

Oh god I just realised this post is probably going to get reamed by spambots.

So to all you spamming fruitcakes out there, before you cotton onto the "video ipod" keyword let me take this oppurtunity to tell you to GO FUCK YOURSELVES in advance

So what are we doing for your birthday? I suggest a two-pronged assault on your liver: a barbie for the families, and then, maybe on a different night, a few beers with me and the copy of The Story of Ricky which I downloaded this week and have been saving for a special occassion (ie: beers at your place, or my place.)

That could work, we could also double it up with Bubbu Ho Tep which I'm in the process of nabbing.

You bastards. Ah well, I shall have a beer to celebrate your burpday anyway.

I heard these iPods were coming, thank fuck they ramped up the storage in them to 30 and 60 gig. I will hopefully be able to avoid buying one as there are now external drives for the PSP, which even bundled with a battery are cheaper than memory sticks.

All this means is that public transport is no longer safe from pr0n.

I have seen Bubbu Ho Tep, and while it is cool, it is not of a ripsnorting gorefest of frenzied violence and frantic killing, and hence not really appropriate for the occasion. Bubbu Ho Tep is one to watch with the wife. Mine dug it. It's no RIKI-OH
