REMASTERED CARCASS CATALOGUE
Looks like a good chunk of the back catalogue is being remastered & released with video's,
time to get excited.

On a semi-related note I just bought this. It's a whole guitar amp & effects rack bundled up into a box about the size of a (weirdly shaped) ciggie packet. & I am eager to get back on the guitar bandwagon.

Who wants to join my shred-metal band cunningly titled

'Save some for later'

Whoah. I rate this post 10 FUCKING IMPALED VIRGINS.

In CARCASS related news, IMPALED are done recording a forthcoming follow up to 'Mondo Medicale'*, which will hopefully be better material than on the split CD with HAEMORRHAGE which came out in between and was a bit pox.

Also EXHUMED shouldn't be too long before they get back in the studio, 'Anatomy is Destiny'* has done really well, and they released a 2 disc retrospective which also got people excited and singing "let's get retarded in here" in the streets. Hopefully they'll do another 'Heartwork' album, I'd be surprised if they dont as they've just toured the world off the back of the last one.

CARCASS are gone but with a global music scene collectively imitating their back catalogue, all is not lost. I want those remasters, all of them bar 'Swansong.'

I think we discussed this as some blokes in butchers outfits covered in blood stepped off a stage into a bunch of guys fondly referred to as 'nappies':

Could one of you fuckers send me a copy of Heartwork.

Now.

I will send that, and the other 2 I was talking about, and more. I'm making up a package for you, I have a belated birthday present for you and that new Elric book, I'll send it late this week. If anything on METALSHTORM ever sounds up your alley let me know.

New Elric book. I forgot completely about that. Cool.

It's pretty cool, set in Nazi Germany for the first part of it, so the book kind of has both feet on the ground at the start, making the fantasy easier to stomach later as it's not as wanton and all-over-the-shop as some of his other books, there's some rhyme and reason to it all.

Plus the story develops into a supernatural armaggedon scenario like Clive Barker's finer moments, if I can say that without making you think of some dudes in tight leather pants with the bum cheeks cut out casting spells down the back of a dark alley in Collingwood.

Great characters too in this book, good stuff. More focused than any other Moorcock I remember reading.

And what the fuck is wrong with spellcasting in Collingwood? I think it's a healthy way to pass time, better than watching 18 different TV shows a day with Satan.

Clive Barker, haven't read any of his stuff in years. Stompbox gave me Weaveworld when I was a little tacker and I got in trouble with the old man cause it had sex in it.

Then Mum bought me the Books of Blood

Would you lot be interested if I whack up some book review type crap of things I think you'd be interested in? My time in Sydney has given me ample opportunity to read even more than I used to, I've come across some gems I'd like to share.

I borrowed Quicksilver (Neil S, like I need to tell you nerds) from the library over a month ago, I'm yet to get past page 18. Not cause it's boring, in fact I am 100% certain it's going to kick massive ass. I just keep falling asleep cause I get up at 6:45 these days,

I think I need to take a week off work & dedicate the whole time to reading it. Dude it's your site, review your bowel movements for all I care

in fact yes, definatley review your bowel movements...

Skaffen's poo review. Do it.

The last Clive Barker book I read was Sacrament. I think the graphical man love description made me feel a bit crooker than the horror bits. I thought Imagica was pretty awesome.

I have noticed that Clive's got a bit of a fascination with bum sex.

Definate yes go for it on book reviews. Video/anime reviews are fun too, review so of the anime you download dude.

Eightball's book review is good, "I read 12 pages and fell asleep because I am old and have to get up and work for a living. Go on the dole and visit your local library."
